Bereavement Ministry: Mourning After

You Do Not Need To Grieve Alone!
Grief Seminar will begin on September 13 at 7 PM in the Lower Chapel
(On week 2 and 3, the series will begin at 8 PM due to Novena of the Miraculous Medal.

Whether you have recently or some time ago lost a loved one, there is a real value in prayers, in sharing or...just listening.

The Support Group is a peer ministry that offers information about the grief process while providing an opportunity for people to share their thoughts and feelings in a supportive environment. If you or someone you know might benefit from this support, encourage them to attend and offer to go with them.

The Bereavement Group conducts two six-week programs (Fall and Winter) that provide an opportunity for people to share their thoughts and feelings. All are invited to attend. The grieving process is sometimes long and difficult; you need not go through it alone. This series of six sessions will be offered again on Tuesday evenings in the Fall. No prior sign up is necessary. However, the group is available anytime if you need to speak with them. Calls and visits of solace can also be provided upon request.

Week 1: Crazy Is Normal
Week 2: Understanding the Stages of Grief
Week 3: Surviving Stress and Loneliness
Week 4: Feelings: Denial, Bargaining, Guilt

These sessions will be held in the Lower Chapel Meeting Room from 7 to 8:30 PM.
